Sevetri Wilson is the Founder and CEO of Resilia, a technology start-up she launched in 2016 to revolutionize how socially-conscious leaders develop, maintain, and grow the nonprofits, corporations, cities, and other enterprises they lead. She has raised over $11M for Resilia to date. The New Orleans-based company, which has a second office in New York, was named to Venture Beat’s Top Startups to Watch Out For in 2019. Sevetri is also the Founder of her first company, the strategic communications agency Solid Ground Innovations, LLC. She is one of Inc. Magazine’s 100 Female Founders Building World Changing Companies, has been included on PitchBook’s 27 Leading Black Founders and Investors list, and her company Resilia named to 2020 Forbes Cloud 100 list. Sevetri is also a recipient of the 2010 Jefferson Award, widely considered to be the Nobel Prize for Public Service, and her work was featured in the U.S. Senate report to the White House on Volunteerism in the U.S. Sevetri has authored two books: Resilient: How to Overcome Anything and Build a Million Dollar Business With or Without Capital (2021), and Solid Ground: How I Built a 7-Figure Company at 22 with Zero Capital (2019), which spent six weeks at No. 1 on Amazon’s Startup category. Her work has been featured in national publications such as USA Today, Time Magazine, and CNN, and she provides a voice for communities as a Forbes contributor.
